Two weeks ago the world’s slopestyle elite gathered in Munich, Germany for the first ever X Games Mountain Bike Slopestyle competition. Brett Rheeder left Munich victorious and will go down in the history books as the first rider to ever win a mountain bike slopestyle X Games gold medal. Now the young Canadian is on his way to Crankworx Les 2 Alpes and the elite are following to challenge him once again for the top spot at an important FMB World Tour Gold event.

It should be no surprise the rider line up is stacked with the biggest names in slopestyle. Current FMB World Tour champion, and 2012 Crankworx Les 2 Alpes winner, Brandon Semenuk will be there to prove he still has what it takes to stand tall on the podium. Despite his skill and standing, it won’t be easy! Brett Rheeder is on a roll this year with consecutive victories at Red Bull Berg Line and X Games Munich and currently leads the overall ranking. Other heavyweights like Sam Pilgrim (currently 2nd) and Thomas Genon (currently 3rd) will be laying it all on the line to rack up big points for their overall title crusade. In fact, looking at the quality of the rider line-up for this competition, victory at Crankworx Les 2 Alpes Slopestyle, presented by iXS, really is anyone’s game!
